It was no contest last night in Mississauga for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
They crushed the Mississauga Chargers 9 to 1.
The G-Hawks outshot the Chargers 54 to 27.
Mitch Lafay, Matthew Cato, and Lucas Robinson each scored a pair for Trenton.
The other scorers were Dillon Stiles, Zev Podolski, and David Fournier.
The Golden Hawks remain on the road and play Pickering tonight at 7:30.
Meanwhile in the Provincial Junior Hockey League, the Picton Pirates lost to Port Hope 4-3 as the Panthers scored the winner just 33 seconds in to overtime. Gerrit Kempers had two goals for Picton with the other coming from Cole Stevenson.
This afternoon at 1:30 the Frankford Huskies will be in Amherstview to play the Jets.
In the Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League, the Deseronto Bulldogs beat Frontenac 6-4 while Arnprior got by the Tweed Oil Kings 3-2.
