The City of Quinte West released its final monthly building stats for 2022.
For the month of December, a total of 35 building permits was issued with a total value of $5,971,000.
Of the 35 permits, 11 were for residential units. In total, the 11 residential building permits are valued at $4,558,000.
In total for the year 2022, the value of the permits issued was $142,986,450. This is up from the $125,070,700 in 2021.
The highest value building permit issued by the city was for an industrial addition from Deca Cables on 150 North Murray St.
The city made $938,754.24 from permit fees and $1,718,242.29 in development charges.
