Prowl at Night
On December 23, 2022 at 12:28 a.m., Belleville police were called to the west end of the city for a male acting strangely and banging on doors. Police located a male matching the description in the area. As a result, 39-year-old Frank McIsaac of Belleville was arrested for prowl by night and breach of probation. He was later released with a January 26, 2023 court date.
Break and Enter
On December 23, 2022 at 9:23 a.m., Belleville police attended a construction site on Station Street. An unknown suspect entered the area and stole diesel heaters, electric heaters and a toolbox. Police ask anyone with information to contact Belleville police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
Theft
On December 25, 2022 at 2:46 p.m., Belleville police were called to a convenience store in the north end of the city about a male who was causing issues in the store. Police attended and learned that the male was an ongoing problem in the store for management and customers and had committed a theft. As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Seth Tanner of Belleville was charged with theft and later released with a January 19,2023 court date.
