The recall of a line of plant-based breakfast sandwiches is being expanded.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the original recall for alpha brand “Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich — meatless sausage” now includes “Plant-based Breakfast Sandwich – Meatless Chorizo,” “Plant-based Breakfast Burrito – Meatless Sausage Scramble” and “Plant-based Burrito – Mexicali.”
The concern stems from the sandwiches and Meatless Sausage Scramble burritos containing milk that is not listed on the label.
They were sold across Canada in 156-gram packages, while the Mexicali burrito was sold in 142-gram packages.
