The City of Quinte West has opened the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens (arena) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday for residents without power who need a place to warm up or charge their phones. The arena will remain open until 11 p.m. tonight. Beds and meals are not provided.
For individuals experiencing homelessness, the Quinte West Warming Centre located at Trenton United Church, 85 Dundas St. E, remains open nightly from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. until March 31, 2023.
