It’s a treacherous Friday afternoon commute especially along Highway 401 in the Brighton/Colborne area.
The highway has been closed for a second time this afternoon in that area.
The westbound lanes of the highway at County Road 30 (Brighton) were closed just before 4 p.m. following a collision involving multiple tractor trailers.
Emergency services are on scene.

During the noon hour, the westbound highway was shut down in the area of Big Apple Drive due to a collision.
Police say to stay off the roads if you can and if you must travel, do so with extreme caution.
