UPDATE: 2:11 p.m. – Vehicles removed, lanes reopened
Emergency crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the westbound Highway 401 at Colborne early in the noon hour.
It occurred west of Big Apple Drive.
Ontario Provincial Police say traffic is being diverted at County Rd 25.
No other details are available.
There are numerous other accidents across the Quinte region this afternoon.
Travel is not recommended unless necessary.
