Brighton council learned just how active the community’s public library system has been at its meeting Monday night.
Library Board Chair Bob Burke and CEO Heather Ratz presented some library statistics to council.
In 2021 the Brighton library had close to 3,400 active card holders.
The two branches circulated almost 50,000 physical items and just over 24,000 digital items.
The 10 staff members hosted a total of 118 special programs.
