Operation Red Nose, a volunteer service that helps get impaired people and their vehicles home safely during the holidays, will not be operating on Thursday.
The decision was made due to impending winter storm warnings in the Quinte Region.
David Allen, a member of the Red Nose Quinte team, said “the health and safety of all of our volunteers is of the utmost importance and we believe it would be best not to put anyone at risk.”
