The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board has approved major upgrades to the lighting, heating, and air conditioning systems in the gym and auditorium area of Trenton High School.
The board accepted a tender from Ottawa area firm Jean Daoust Construction totalling a little over $1.95 million.
The work will start sometime this month and will take a year to complete.
The upgrades to the lighting and HVAC systems at Trenton High are phase two of a four-phase renovation at the school.
