Quinte West Council has started a review of city staff salaries.
The decision was made during Thursday’s council meeting, where the new council voted to hire a consultant to perform the review.
The objective of the review is to compare compensation offered to Quinte West staff to compensation for similar jobs in other cities, to aid in attracting and retaining workers.
