The Foundations Youth Centre in Madoc is hosting a “Celebration of Appreciation” dinner today.
The free dinner is to celebrate 25 years of being at the same location serving meals to thousands of children.
Founder Colleen McAlistair says volunteers are getting much deserved recognition.
“Barn & Country are catering it for us because the volunteers have cooked enough turkey for us over the years. I wanted them to be able to celebrate.”
The dinner will be held at 76 Durham St.
McAllistair says she expects the dinner to go from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
