The recipient for the 2022 James Gordon Carnegie Award has been announced.
The award, presented to a Chamber of Commerce executive in Ontario who demonstrates exceptional leadership, has been given to CEO of the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Andrews.
Andrews has been part of the Chamber of Commerce for 17 years, and the award cites not only her long tenure but also her efforts in both mentoring others and in strengthening connections between chambers of commerce in the region.
“I am a very community-minded person and believe that helping to develop our city as a great place to live makes it a great place to work and build your business,” said Andrews. “I am committed to increasing the economic, cultural and recreational assets in our community and enjoy building relationships to work towards common goals. I am thrilled and honoured to be the recipient of this year’s award.”
The James Gordon Carnegie Award is awarded by the Chamber Executives of Ontario Association.
