Quinte West OPP are asking for the public’s help to “Cram the Cruiser” this weekend.
Saturday afternoon, Quinte West OPP Auxiliary officers and volunteers will be at Metro in Trenton (53 Quinte Street) taking donations of non-perishable food items for the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank.
The most needed foods items are:
• Canned vegetables
• Canned pasta
• Dry & canned soups and stews
• Canned fruit
• Breakfast cereal (low sugar varieties)
• Canned/powdered milk
• Juice boxes
• Crackers
• School snacks (pudding cups, granola bars, etc)
• Dry beans
• Baby food
• Shampoo and soap
• Pads and tampons
• Toilet paper
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m.
