It seems like it’s a windy day every day lately but Saturday’s forecast is calling for another especially blustery one.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region as a cold front is expected to pass through on Saturday bringing with it high winds early Saturday morning last through the afternoon.
Expect south or southwest winds with gusts up to 70 km/h ahead of the cold front and gusts up to 80 km/h out of the west or northwest along and behind the front.
Power outages are possible and high winds may toss loose objects, break tree branches and cause damage to buildings.
