Belleville police responded to 82 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on November 28, 2022 to 5 a.m. on November 29, 2022.
Breach of Undertaking
On November 27, 2022 at 8 p.m., Belleville police attended an address at 59 Russell Street regarding a breach of an undertaking. Police received information that a 27-year-old Belleville resident was in breach of his release conditions by communicating and being with his partner, whom he had assaulted in the past. As a result, he was arrested and charged with two counts of breaching his undertaking. He was later released with a court date of December 12, 2022. As this is an intimate partner violence-related incident, the accused’s name is not being released to protect the victim’s identity.
