Belleville Transit hit one million rides on Tuesday.
The news was confirmed in a memo to the City of Belleville Wednesday morning.
It is the first time the transit service has hit one million rides during the year since 2019.
Transit Operations Manager Joe Reid says the transit service predicts there will be over 1.2 million riders by the end of the year.
