A program that literally helps thousands of less fortunate residents in the Quinte region has received a nice financial boost from a local organization.
Monday 100 Men Who Care Quinte chose the Christmas Sharing Program, based in Belleville, to receive a donation of $8,000. Christmas Sharing has helped local families with Christmas season food costs since 1967.
Meanwhile since its inception 8 years ago 100 Men Who Care Quinte has donated almost $300,000 to local charities.
