CFB Trenton released a statement identifying the mystery fluid found splattered over cars near the base on Thursday.
In the statement, a spokesperson for the base says that the fluid is bird droppings, from a migratory species that had been eating local buckhorn berries while passing through.
Technicians had previously been checking all planes for potential hydraulic fluid leaks, but none were found.
