This winter Quinte Conservation is concluding its 75th anniversary celebrations with a special limited edition of Adopt an Acre in honour of this year’s fundraising campaign.
From November 17 to December 22 donations to the Adopt an Acre program of $60 or more will receive Otis the Owl, a limited edition 75th anniversary plush toy.
Corporate Services Manager, Tammy Smith, says that each year the watershed community has been supporting the continued protection and maintenance of their favourite green spaces through the Adopt an Acre program, ensuring that these cherished areas are well-cared-for.
Adopt an acre for $30 to receive an adoption certificate and a tax receipt. Adopt two acres for $60 and receive an adoption certificate and a plush toy.
All proceeds from the Adopt an Acre fundraiser go toward the continued protection and maintenance of Quinte Conservation’s areas. Over time, guests to these outdoor spaces will notice upgrades and improvements to trails and structures like bridges, boardwalks, shelters, picnic tables, and benches.
