The Christmas season is often the time of year when people are the most generous.
This coming Monday will be the launch of the Christmas Kettle Fundraising campaign in Belleville.
There are two pieces that make it work – the donations and the volunteers.
Officials are putting out a call to action for residents to step up to stand beside kettles for the giving season.
1,950 volunteer shifts need to be filled across 13 Belleville locations.
Each shift is two hours.
This years goal is $315,000.
