The official end of Belleville council’s term comes Monday as the current council holds its final meeting.
There’s not much business on the agenda but the meeting will give the members of council who are not returning for the next term a chance to say their goodbyes.
Not returning to the council horseshoe will be Mayor Mitch Panciuk and councillors Kelly McCaw, Bill Sandison, and Carol Feeney.
Tuesday the inaugural meeting of the next city council takes place and will feature the swearing in of new Mayor Neil Ellis and councillors Barbara Enright-Miller, Lisa Anne Chatten, and Kathryn Brown.
Returning councillors are Sean Kelly, Tyler Allsopp, Garnet Thompson, Chris Malette, and Paul Carr.
