Belleville Police say they arrested a suspect after a chase in an unusual vehicle on Friday night.
The suspect was driving a skid steer tractor.
Police were called to University Drive in the industrial park after reports of a suspicious vehicle. After they located the vehicle and determined it to be the tractor, they attempted to stop the vehicle. The operator did not stop for police.
Police chased the skid steer tractor for over an hour before the vehicle came to a stop, and the operator was taken into custody.
Belleville Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask witnesses to call them at 613-966-0882.
