The City of Belleville has announced two new additions to its executive team.
Dean Hustwick has been named as Director of Community Services while Heather Candler has been named Director of Economic Development.
Hustwick already began his role with the city on October 3.
He has more than 25 years of experience at both the provincial and municipal level.
This includes 20 years in senior positions at the Ontario Ministries of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Environment, and Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Candler begins her newly-created role on November 21.
She will be leading the Economic Development Division that is part of the Chief Administrative Officer’s department.
Candler has experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She comes from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs where she led a provincial team of economic development and agriculture development professionals as Manager of Community Economic Development Programs for Rural and Agri-Food.
