The body of a hero returned to Canada Thursday morning.
In a private ceremony, dignitaries, military officials, and the family of Captain Eric Cheung were on hand to welcome him home.

The CC-150 Polaris, on route from Germany, landed at 10:58 a.m., Thursday.
Captain Cheung passed away in Iraq on Saturday November 5.

Cheung was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces since 2009, most recently as an Operations Officer with 38 Canadian Brigade Group headquarters, based in Winnipeg.
