More than 30 employees have just a few weeks left on the job in Belleville.
Cascades has announced that before December 2, it will eliminate 31 positions at its industrial park location.
Cascades Containerboard Packaging President Charles Malo says they will be permanently shutting down the corrugator at their site in Belleville.
The layoff will eliminate about 30% of the University Avenue property.
The company says they will be offering those affected an option to transfer elsewhere in the company.
If they do not wish to relocate, they will receive support in their search for employment.
In the Quinte region, Cascades currently has about 240 employees between the Belleville and Trenton locations.
