The Haliburton Huskies claimed a 5-4 victory in overtime on Saturday night against the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Ryan Holmes, Jordan Fuller, Jaden Raad, and Matthew Cato all scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Huskies took an early lead with three goals in the first period, leaving the Golden Hawks to play catch-up. The Golden Hawks managed to tie the game at 4-4 in the fourth period, forcing them into overtime, but only a minute into overtime, the Huskies claimed the final goal of the night and victory with it.
Meanwhile in Junior C Hockey action, the Frankford Huskies beat the Port Hope Panthers 4 to 1.
