The Belleville Senators defeated the Lehigh Valley Phantoms 3-2 on Friday.
Rourke Chartier and Maxence Guenette scored for the Senators.
The Senators took the lead with the first goal towards the end of the first period, and kept that lead through the second, picking up another goal and not letting the Phantoms onto the board until the third period. While the Phantoms pushed for a comeback, the Senators refused to give up the lead and took the win.
The Senators play again Saturday night against the Toronto Marlies
