OPP have laid impaired driving charges after a vehicle struck a hydro pole in Quinte West overnight.
Quinte West emergency crews responded to the single vehicle collision on Trenton-Frankford Road, near Bernard Long Road around 1 a.m. Friday.
The driver was located uninjured but was found to be impaired.
A 38-year-old man from Quinte West has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
His vehicle was impounded for seven days, and his licence was suspended for 90 days.
