Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has declared a respiratory outbreak at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home.
The health unit says the outbreak went into effect Thursday.
Affected residents were said to be isolated and their symptoms have since been resolved.
Anyone who has symptoms of a cold or fever is asked to avoid the long-term care facility during the outbreak.
According to HPEPH’s guidelines, if there are no active or new cases, the outbreak should be resolved on November 7.
