As promised Campbellford Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department reopened Sunday evening at 7:30.
However, things aren’t back to normal at the hospital.
A COVID-19 outbreak continues in its inpatient unit and staff can only admit patients to the day surgery area which has been repurposed for inpatient beds.
This means some people coming to Campbellford’s Emergency Department needing to be admitted may be sent to other hospitals in the area.
