Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the theft of a dog and litter of two-month-old puppies from Quinte West.
Police say an apartment on Ontario Street in Trenton was broken into Monday, October 24 between noon and 2 p.m.
The adult dog was found abandoned at the apartment building several hours later however, the seven Cane Corso puppies are still missing.
There are four females and three males in the litter.
They have varied markings including black, brindle and brindle with white marking.
