Dangerous Operation and breach of probation
On October 25, 2022 at 2:43 a.m., Belleville police were called to a business on North Front Street, for a single motor vehicle collision. Prior to police arrival, the driver had fled. Police located the vehicle and the accused a short distance away. As a result of the investigation, 34-year-old George Shields of Belleville was arrested and charged with dangerous operation and fail to comply with a probation order. Shields was later released with a November 25, 2022 court date.
