Voters in communities across Ontario will cast their ballots today in municipal elections.
The Association of Municipalities says there are over 6000 candidates running for more than 2800 council seats across the province.
Voter turnout in the 2018 elections was just over 38%, the lowest since 1982.
Meanwhile, CJBQ 800 AM will present Quinte Votes 2022 tonight starting when the polls close at 8 o’clock. Jack Miller, Lorne Brooker and David Joyce will bring you results and analysis from 11 communities in the Quinte region.
