The Trenton Golden Hawks beat the Wellington Dukes 2 to 1 in front of 1000 fans at the Wellington Community Centre.
Sam Williamson and Jordan Fuller scored for the Golden Hawks, while Lucas Lapalm scored for the Dukes.
The Golden Hawks claimed an early lead with goals in the second and third periods. The Dukes came back in the third to score one, but missed a penalty shot and were unable to tie the game.
