An information and awareness event about homelessness is being held at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Quinte West on Thursday.
The event begins at 6 p.m.
The information event seeks to educate the public about what it’s like to be homeless and the challenges homeless people face in the community.
A guest speaker, Emily Wright, will be speaking about her personal experiences living on the street when she was 19.
Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion about how to address homelessness in the community.
