An intoxicated male attends the Police Station
On October 6, 2022 around 9:30 p.m., police located a very intoxicated 26-year-old Belleville resident at the front entrance of the station. The male was lodged in the cells overnight and released once sober with a ticket for being intoxicated in a public place.
Arrest on Warrants
On October 7, 2022 at approximately 12:45 a.m., police were called to a residential building in the west end of Belleville for a report of a male sleeping in a hallway. The male was located by police. It was confirmed he was not a resident of the building. Police further determined the male had an outstanding warrant. Fifty-two-year-old Belleville resident, Terry Cheverie, was arrested and was remanded into custody at a bail hearing October 7.
