The latest update on the Radiothon for The Children’s Foundation is that so far nearly $68,000 has been raised.
Notable donations include a $5,000 donation from Quinte Mobile Concrete and $1,000 from Brighton Recycling.
Six local radio stations, including our own CJBQ, MIX97, and ROCK 107 are holding a fundraising radiothon to benefit The Children’s Foundation.
The Foundation offers children and youth in need programs including sports and other recreation, skills courses, and scholarships and bursaries for students.
Last year’s radiothon raised around $75,000.
