Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting another drop in new COVID-19 cases.
In its latest update to the COVID-19 dashboard, public health reported 201 new high-risk cases of COVID-19. That’s a drop from the 228 new high-risk cases reported last week.
The number of known active high-risk cases also went down. There are now 257 active high-risk cases in the region, down from 272.
No new COVID-19 deaths are being reported.
COVID-19 hospitalizations also saw a drop. Thirty-five people are now in the hospital with COVID-19, down from 42 the week before.
Three people remain in intensive care.
Outbreaks are also down. There are 15 active high-risk outbreaks of COVID-19 in the region, down from 17 the week before.
