Local radio on Wednesday will be all about helping kids in need in the Quinte region.
CJBQ, MIX97, and ROCK107, along with three other stations, will be raising money in the 3rd Annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon.
The radiothon, organized by The Children’s Foundation, will run from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Money pledged by listeners will help pay for programs that allow high risk kids to play organized sports or participate in other recreational activities, to take skills courses, and to provide scholarship and bursary money to students.
Other than making pledges on the radio stations Wednesday people can also donate by calling 613-921-KIDS (5437) or by going to The Children’s Foundation website.
