Belleville firefighters from rural stations 3 and 4 were kept busy overnight.
Around 8:30 Tuesday night, crews responded to a fire involving two dump trucks off Highway 37.
Damage to the trucks is estimated to be around $500,000 however luckily there were no injuries.
Then at just after 1 o’clock Wednesday morning, Stations 3 and 4 were called out to a fully engulfed car fire on Highway 401 east near Mitchell Road.
Two people managed to get out of the car but were treated by Hastings Quinte paramedics.
Firefighters were on scene for about an hour.
