Belleville Fire and Emergency Services will be launching Fire Prevention Week with an open house.
The open house is taking place at Bettes St. Fire station on Saturday, October 8.
It will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Those taking part are encouraged to tour the fire trucks, check out the inflatable fire safety house, pick up some fire prevention educational materials, visit with Sparky the fire dog and take part in a BBQ lunch at noon.
It’s all part of the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week.
