We’re just over four weeks away from municipal election day on October 24 and City of Belleville Clerk Matt MacDonald wants to make sure residents know how to go about voting.
At Belleville council’s Monday meeting MacDonald said there will be no paper ballots in Belleville this election. All voting will be done either over the internet or by phone. Voter information letters will be sent out to eligible voters in the first week of October.
For those who need help voting it will be available on voting day at Voter Assistance Centres at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre or the Gerry Masterson Community Centre near Foxboro.
Advance voting starts on October 11, running through to October 24.
