A motorcycle rider has been airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after an accident near Grafton on Saturday.
Today’s Northumberland reports that the accident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Shelter Valley Road near Telephone Road.
A group of motorcycles were riding together when one motorcycle went off the road while going around a bend.
Two riders were thrown from the motorcycle and both were sent to Northumberland Hills Hospital, where one was airlifted to Toronto.
The road was closed briefly while OPP investigated.
