The Regent Theatre will be hosting a gala fundraising event with proceeds going towards its marquee.
The Regent says that weather and vandalism have taken a toll on the marquee.
It’s estimated to need $75,000 in repairs to both fix the marquee and the underlying electrical pathways.
The gala dinner will take place on October 8. It will be both a celebration of the completion of the Accessible Seating Terrace project and to fundraise for the restoration of the marquee.
It will be a 1920s themed dinner with a party afterwards.

Party tickets will go on sale on September 28.
