What better way to spend a day than enjoying late summer fresh air, exercise and music.
This Saturday the Rotary Club of Belleville presents the 13th annual Porchfest.
From 1 o’clock until 4 o’clock,, musicians will be playing at 50 different locations in the city’s east end.
Rotary Club member Sam Brady says starting at 3 o’clock the Downtown District will be featuring a Porchfest After Party.
“There’s various venues downtown with musicians inside directly from Porchfest and then the Downtown District is also having four bands playing some concerts.”
There will be a vendor market on the sidewalks downtown featuring Side Hustle Market from 3 -7 p.m.
While Porchfest starts in the afternoon Andy Forgie will entertain the kids starting at 10 in the morning at Robin Jeffrey Park, formerly known as east hill park, and Rob Clute will play at Glanmore House starting at noon. Porchfest is a free event.
