The City of Belleville will be host to delegates from municipalities across Ontario from September 27 to 28 for the 65th annual Eastern Ontario Water Works Association (EOWWA) Conference.
A statement issued by the city indicates that the conference will see the arrival of approximately 300 professionals in the water and wastewater field in Belleville.
They will discuss relevant changes in legislation, technology and equipment that make the water industry run.
“This is another wonderful opportunity for our city,” said Manager of Environmental Services Perry DeCola.
DeCola added, “This is the second EOWWA Conference that Belleville has had the privilege of hosting with the last conference being held in 2019. We look forward to welcoming these water professionals to our city and showing them all that our region has to offer.”
