Northumberland OPP have found a vehicle belonging to a missing man and say a deceased person was found inside.
Travis Nickerson was last seen around the Village of Hastings on September 8.
Sunday, OPP located a vehicle linked to Nickerson in the area of County Road 18 in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
Police say investigation into the identity of the deceased is ongoing.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is also currently underway by the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit, with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
