Belleville police responded to 87 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginningfrom 5 a.m. on September 14, 2022 to 5 a.m. on September 15, 2022.
Arrested on warrant
On September 14, 2022 at 11 a.m., police observed a male at Bridge Street West and Sidney Street known to them to be wanted on outstanding warrants for breach of probation. Police attempted to speak with the male; however, he fled on a bicycle. After a short chase, he was arrested on Sidney Street. Adam Reid, 39, of Belleville was arrested. He was later released on charges of breach of probation and obstruct police. He will appear in court on October 13, 2022.
On September 15, 2022 at 4:10 a.m., police observed a female known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant in the area of Front Street and Bridge Street. Police arrested 30-year-old Jaquelin Bloor of Belleville on the strength of the outstanding warrant for breach of probation. She was transported to the Belleville Police Service where she was released on an undertaking with an October 13, 2022 court date.
