The Stirling-Rawdon BIA has announced it’s expanding membership opportunities beyond those in the village.
Initially, membership was restricted to businesses with a brick and mortar location through a municipal levy.
Now, any business in Stirling-Rawdon can purchase a membership.
Membership allows business members a listing on the Visit Stirling–Rawdon website, social media promotion through the Visit Stirling–Rawdon channels and invitations to special business support training sessions hosted by the Stirling–Rawdon BIA.
It also allows business members to have voting rights at Stirling-Rawdon BIA meetings.
“I’m thrilled to be able to welcome more businesses into the BIA and have more people actively involved,” said Mary-Louise Belanger, Chair of the Stirling-Rawdon BIA, in a release.
“Stirling is an amazing community with a huge heart for supporting each other, and this move to be more inclusive of all of Stirling–Rawdon is long overdue. This is such a great opportunity for our community.”
The new membership opportunities come as the BIA also launches a new website.
It will feature Stirling–Rawdon BIA members in its searchable business directory, as well as news and event listings about things going on in the region.
